Villa Description

Bird of Paradise named one of the Top 20 Villas in the World by Islands Magazine offers all of the privacy and comforts of a private home with all the services and amenities of a resort. With its executive chef, Kids' Club and spa services, there is no need to ever leave. The Bird of Paradise is not part of any resort or compound of villas. It is an extremely private and expansive property. Guests do not share facilities or staff with any other villa.

Perched above a perfect crescent beach, the Bird of Paradise looks across the Caribbean to the mountains of St. Barths and St. Martin. Sandy Hill Bay is a delightful beach for walking, swimming and snorkeling. There are no hotels or resorts on the beach. Each and every suite has an equal, panoramic view of the beach. There are no "garden views" at this villa.

The Bird of Paradise boasts not one, but three pool areas, the most extensive pool system of any villa on Anguilla. The lagoon-style pools are heated and range in depth from 3' to 9'.

The property manager works exclusively for the Bird of Paradise and will meet and greet you upon arrival at the airport or dock. There is 24-hour concierge, daily housekeeping and a grounds man to assist with beach chairs. A daily continental breakfast is included.

There are multiple living and dining areas. The Bird of Paradise has seating for more than 50 in the living areas. There is an interior living room with a wet bar, an exterior living room with fireplace, a covered veranda with day bed and lounge chairs, a sundeck as well as a hill-top deck with chairs and an Indonesian bale' or gazebo.

The four air-conditioned bedroom suites have their own private, exterior entrance and all have private verandas with lounge chairs and views of the beach. Each suite is equipped with a credenza that holds a refrigerator and coffee/wine service for added comfort and privacy. There are interior/exterior showers, whirlpool baths, walk-kin closets, dressing tables and more. Frette linens, Bvlgari amenities, beach bags and towels are standard. One suite has an attached office, which can be made into a 5th bedroom for children 10 and under.

Technology at the Bird of Paradise includes flat screen TVs, DVDs, 9 speaker sound system, iPod dock, wireless internet, four phone lines and fax. Complimentary phone calls to the U.S., Canada and Europe are included via NetPhone. A cell phone is provided for on-island use.
