Combining the ocean, mountains and tropical vegetation in perfect harmony, Casa Gran Dia is so much more than simply a place to vacation. Experience waking up with the sound of singing wild birds, the summer breeze touching your face, and the morning scent of fresh fruits and freshly made coffee waiting for you as you take in views of the ocean and wilderness.

Enjoy dining at the beautiful triangle-shaped glass table with enormous windows facing the ocean, or relax in the cozy living room with a view. If you're in the mood for a movie, indulge yourself in the air-conditioned TV room. Internet access is available for news and correspondence.

Five large balconies surround the house, three of them oceanside with a magnificent view of the bay, and the other two jungleside with marvelous mountains and lush greenery to enjoy. The pool area is surrounded with a flower-filled garden and palms - a lovely setting for guests to enjoy nature while sipping a margarita at the bar. If there are little ones in the group, ask for the small "Step2" swimming pool for their additional safety.

This 4 level, 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom exclusive house can accommodate 12 people comfortably or up to a maximum of 16, if using the two double beds in the 3 largest rooms.

Casa Gran Dia has every detail ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible, delighting you with the full time service of a housekeeper and, for an additional cost, a cook and a waiter to take care of every wish you may have. Enjoy yourself and relax; the only thing you'll have to worry about during your stay is packing for your trip home.

Puerto Vallarta lies along Banderas Bay, the second largest bay in the Western Hemisphere. It is located 352 kilometers (219 miles) from Guadalajara, the state capital of Jalisco, and it is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The region has many forests, rivers and waterfalls, with an average temperature of 27�C (80�F).

Of its many attractions, Playa Mismaloya - which gained fame from the film "The Night of the Iguana" - is a popular celebrity hangout. The impressive rock formations of Los Arcos emerge from the bay's crystalline waters, which are great for diving and discovering incredible underwater mountains and steeps. The city hall has murals painted by Manuel Lepe, and the Malecon (sea wall) is adorned with romantic bronze sculptures. Downtown streets offer shops and galleries that sell local paintings and sculptures. The city, known for its top-notch services, also has golf courses, boutiques and a marina.

In Puerto Vallarta you can enjoy the exquisite regional cuisine of Jalisco and the terraces of open-air restaurants, where you can watch cruise ships roll in as you take in an incredible sunset.

Sport fishing is just one of many activities you can do during your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Each year, during the month of November, the International Sailfish Fishing Tournament takes place.
