So This Is Love: Romantic Rendez-vous Villas
Villa rentals full of charm inspire cozy moments
By Heather Whipps
Caribbean villas provide the ultimate Valentine’s getaway for swooning couples. Forgetting even the sun and surf, the privacy factor alone makes it a better alternative to a hotel, where walls can be thin and hot tubs shared. What’s more, at a villa you will be the staff’s only charge, meaning no partitioning of their time with the demanding couple down the hall. Have your own cook prepare every meal if that’s what you want; a butler, a housekeeper…many villas include these as standards. Whatever you’re lacking can always be arranged by our in-house concierge department, a crucial element in planning that most romantic of holidays.
Concierge services in their most basic form – arranging pre-stocking of groceries, car rentals, and airport transfers – will start the holiday off smoothly and ensure that your attention stays on each other. But where CaribbeanWay’s concierge department really shines is in kicking your Valentine’s holiday up a notch. Here are a few romantic suggestions and their perfect-partner locations (but feel free to dream up your own!):
Private, torch-lit dinner on the beach: settle in for a gourmet experience at any number of sandy patches near Casa Manana, on the private island of Cayo Espanto.
Champagne and gourmet basket awaiting your arrival: share bubbly on the balcony of Passionate Paw Paw in Grenada and see if the mood strikes.
Couples massages by the pool: surround yourself in the lush landscape of Belmont in Jamaica and a zen experience won’t be hard to come by.
Rose petals strewn in the master bedroom and bath: the French know romance, and Villa Bali in St. Barts is the perfect place to spice up your suite.
Picnic lunch on a deserted cay: pick your favorite tiny islet from the balcony of Mooncottage on St. John and set sail for a romantic-Crusoe day.
Sunset cruise in a private catamaran: watch the sun go down on the horizon from the water off Lan-Y-Mor, the perfect romantic villa for two in Virgin Gorda.
Book your romantic villa escape today!
LOVELY LUCK OF THE IRISH
Valentine’s Day is named for a real Roman saint who was martyred in the 3rd century. His remains were found in 1836 and donated to a chapel in Dublin, Ireland, where they are marched in a procession honoring love every year on February 14th. |
